Privacy policy

Last updated 24 October 2026. Payfloor is run by Tanish Anand, a sole trader in Brisbane, Queensland.

The short version

• The numbers you type into the calculators and your shift log stay in your browser on your device. We never receive them.
• We count visits and button clicks without cookies and without storing your IP address.
• If you send a suggestion, we receive your message and, only if you give it, your email address.
• We don't sell or share personal information, and we don't show ads.

Your calculator and shift data

Pay, hours, tips, kilometres and suburbs you enter are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are not sent to our server. You can delete them with "Delete all my data" on the My shifts page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser. We can't see or recover this data.

Visit and usage counts

To understand which tools are useful, the site sends a small record to our server when a page loads and when you use certain features (for example using the real pay calculator, adding a shift or exporting). Each record contains:

• the page and the feature used
• the website that linked to us, if any (domain only)
• whether this device has visited before, and roughly how often, worked out on your device
• phone or computer, and the country of the connection
• a random code made by combining your IP address and browser type with a secret that changes every day. This lets us count unique visitors for one day. The secret is deleted after a day, so the code can't be linked across days or back to you. Your IP address itself is not stored.

We don't use cookies, fingerprinting, or third-party analytics. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is sent. Usage records are deleted after 13 months.

Suggestions

When you use the suggestion form we store your message, the topic, the date, the daily code above (to stop spam), and your email address if you choose to give it. We use your email only to reply. Ask us to delete your message at any time.

Where data is stored

The site and its database are hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process data on servers outside Australia. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to the admin area is limited to the site owner and protected by sign-in.

Payments

Payfloor is free. If we add a paid option, payments will be handled by Stripe and we'll update this policy before it starts. We will never see or store your card number.

Your choices

You can use every tool without giving any personal information. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or make a complaint by emailing us. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
